I dreamed of you last night

Reminding me I haven’t moved on

You were once my whole world

As green as the moss in the forest

But this earth filled with loose soil

And barely covered my hopeful heart

I held binoculars to see you land

In the plane I made for you

But nothing ever touched the ground

Not the planes or even leaves

Why are you still my world?

Now, I’m learning to fly a Rocketship

And I’ll find a new galaxy to call home
